In 2001, we opened our doors in Maputo and sailed on a new and exciting journey in the country. We have seen our business grow steadily and, in 2008, we consolidated our life insurance offerings to establish Hollard Vida. (Hollard Vida operates under a separate licence and is a part of Hollard Mozambique).
We became one of the leading insurers in Mozambique, through our complete range of corporate, commercial, and personal insurance products designed to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
Through our head office based in Maputo, and our partners, we have established a nationwide network that enabled us to provide our products and services to all Mozambicans through our three branches in Nacala, Tete and Beira. In addition to our purple agents located in all key border posts, ensuring all visitors/tourists to Mozambique can purchase the required insurance for travel in the country.
Hollard has proudly been one of the pillars of the insurance industry in Mozambique and we are now looking to extend our contribution through financial inclusion by designing exciting new products to meet the critical needs of low-income and traditionally uninsured segments.
